Boilers are special equipment and are extremely dangerous. In most countries, the production, manufacture, sale, and use of boilers and pressure vessels must comply with strict regulations and regulations. Boilers and pressure equipment must be certified by an independent authority to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) are a set of standards that regulate the materials, design and construction, inspection and testing of boilers and boiler components for compliance by the manufacturers and users of boilers in India.
The IBR regulations mainly stipulate the design, manufacture and inspection of boiler and pressure vessels in India and imported into India. It is a safety procedure, not a standard procedure. Boiler and pressure vessel equipment entering India must comply with the IBR regulations. The INDA BOILER REGULATION(hereinafter referred to as IBR) stipulates that boiler pressure vessels, pipes, valves, raw materials (plates, bars, castings, forgings) exported to India are required to be inspected by CBB authorized inspection agencies. The authorized inspector shall carry out design audit and manufacturing process supervision according to IBR, and carry out on-site installation inspection and registration before entering the Indian market. At the same time, the manufacturer shall issue various IBR forms such as manufacturing, installation and material certification according to IBR requirements. The authorized inspection agency may sign the approval before signing it.
IBR is strictly enforced by the Indian government, no material or equipment can be imported into India unless it is accompanied by a certificate that confirms that all imports meet the IBR. This certificate must be endorsed by an Inspecting Authority designated by the Indian Government.
